Shipping, guarantee and return policy:
The shipping costs as stated by us apply to Europe and America. Shipping costs for Asia, Australia and Africa may vary and are subject to actual shipping costs.
Shipped goods must be checked immediately upon acceptance for any damage; this applies to damaged packaging as well as to the goods themselves.
Contacting us immediately and notifying the delivery service is essential for any warranty claim. Returns to us, for whatever reason, must be paid for by the sender (customer).
Please note that there is no right of return or exchange for special offers below the list price stated by us.
In special cases, manipulation fees amounting to 10% of the new list price can be charged to the customer at the discretion of Heimatklang.
Check for completeness of delivery:
Goods delivered by us must be checked immediately upon receipt for completeness and order accuracy. This also applies in any case to the exchange of goods due to model changes.
Complaints in this regard must be reported to us immediately upon receipt of the goods, but no later than within 2 days!
Warranty and guarantee:
Our alphorns are 100% produced exclusively in Austria, we offer a 2-year guarantee on material and workmanship for wound alphorns, as well as a 2-year guarantee on naturally lacquered alphorns. The prerequisite is that the customer handles it correctly according to the handling list.
Improper handling will void the warranty; in such cases, an external expert will be consulted.
Examples where the guarantee does not apply are:
- Pick up the alphorn when the hand tube is plugged together; this can cause cracks in the tubes.
- Sliding the alphorn on the ground, the cup base can break, in the worst case the cup itself breaks.
- Very rare greasing of the connecting bushings, in the worst case, bushings can rub together and the individual pipes can no longer be separated without using force, cracks and cracks are possible due to force.
- Supply of external moisture such as rain and snow
- constantly storing the alphorn in damp rooms or in the attic
Regular greasing of the connection sockets (at least 2 x per week) during gaming is absolutely necessary.
The alphorn can absorb moisture by blowing and releases this moisture at the same rate.
All wood is dried and processed according to the technical guidelines according to the standard.
