All alphorns from Heimatklang are exclusively produced in Austria, and we only use dried quality woods from Austria. We supply the global music trade, so you have the assurance of getting an optimal instrument at a fair price and with consistent quality, replacement and accessory parts are available even after years.

Quality is not a matter of chance, which is why we place the highest value on the materials and the processing of our alphorns. Compare cheap offers with our horns, the very elaborate surface treatment and the gold-anodized connecting sockets are only available at Heimatklang.

The effort is the result of very high-quality products, naturally in connection with constant quality control before delivery. We do not use woods with knots or bark, we only use first-class raw material. Even here, we sort out already milled parts to only use the highest quality components when assembling the horns.

Consistent milling and turning of the individual parts to achieve a consistently uniform wall thickness is a matter of course for us but necessary, as this is crucial for the playing behavior of the horn.
