The Alphorn Model “Spitzenklasse” is produced with finely selected spruce woods for musicians who are looking for something very special.

 

Due to the large bore and the wide bell shape, we manage to achieve a full, warm, and very sonorous tone with extremely easy response.

A guarantee for this is, among other things, the consistent – uniform wall thickness of 8.5 millimeters.

The highest quality materials such as the gold-anodized connecting sockets are sought in vain by competitors; in our models, these are STANDARD!

This Alphorn is classified in the absolute top class of Alphorns.

Some prototypes were with very critical testers in the production phase for several weeks both domestically and in neighboring countries. The very clear result, to determine the quality of the Alphorn, was clearly in our favor compared to other top horns in the most important 5 factors.

Tested were:
+ the ease of response
+ the intonation within itself
+ the craftsmanship compared to very expensive top horns from competitors
+ the tone volume and sound of the Alphorn
+ the “easy jumping of the tones” during play

Testing was conducted in various areas such as churches, halls, auditoriums, and outdoors – by both women and men. Among the testers were very experienced Alphorn players, including members of the Swiss Alphorn associations. They are particularly critical of “Alphorns from abroad.”
