All Heimatklang alphorns are produced exclusively in Austria, and we only use dried quality wood from Austria. We supply the worldwide music trade, so you can be sure of getting an optimal instrument at a fair price and with consistent quality. Spare parts and accessories are available for years to come.

Quality is not a matter of chance, which is why we place the highest value on the materials and workmanship of our alphorns. Compare cheap offers with our horns, the very elaborate surface treatment and the gold-anodized connecting bushings are only available from Heimatklang.

The expense is the result of very high-quality products, naturally in conjunction with constant quality control before delivery. We do not use any wood with knots or slabs, we only use first-class raw material. Even in this case, we remove parts that have already been milled so that only the highest quality components are used when assembling the horns.

Even milling and turning of the individual parts to achieve a consistently uniform wall thickness is a matter of course for us, but it is necessary as this is decisive for the playing behavior of the horn.
