We produce the 6-piece alphorn made of spruce wood especially for hikers and mountaineers!

Features and Characteristics:

• 6-piece alphorn made of spruce wood available in tuning f, fis, g, as or Bb
• newly produced alphorn but visually not 100% okay for sale in music retail
• small wood splinters in the bell have been filled during production
• a small part of the zipper holder is broken on the bag
• otherwise technically 100% in order!!!
• very easy to play and in tune!

 

Other Description:

• wound and lacquered (winding serves to protect the wood)
• plug connections with aluminum sealing rings – gold anodized, therefore highly abrasion-resistant, very high fitting accuracy even after years without air loss
• high-quality and stable bell ring with 215 mm made of solid cherry wood
• consistent and uniform wall thickness of 8.5 mm
• tuned to 440 Hz (442 Hz possible)
• very secure intonation and consistent within itself
• extremely easy response due to the special bell structure and wall thickness
• PVC protector, mouthpiece, and alphorn backpack bag included!
• made in Austria with Austrian woods
• Weight 2.6 kg (4.2 kg including bag)
